Vernee to make heads turn with four devices at MWC 2017: Apollo 2, Thor Plus, Thor E & Mars Pro

It seems like Vernee is ready to take other OEMs head-on at the MWC meet in Barcelona scheduled for later this year. The tech firm has already managed to place itself in the limelight by yesterday’s announcement of launching Vernee Apollo 2, world’s first MediaTek Helio X30 phone with a whopping 8GB RAM during MWC. And now there’s another official word from them about the release of three more equally formidable devices- Vernee Thor E, Vernee Thor Plus and Vernee Mars Pro.

The Thor Plus, with an unbelievable 6050mAH battery is an improved version of the classic Thor. Other specs have not been revealed, but looking at the image above, we can easily tell that it should squeeze in a display of 5.5 inch or more, all on an ultra thin body of only 7.9mm. It is rumored to be available in May.

Even before Thor Plus hits the markets, we should be able to get our hands-on Thor E, a mid-range smartphone with a 5-inch screen and large 5020 mAh battery.

Then comes Vernee’s first Helio P25 smartphone, the Mars Pro. Successor to Vernee Mars, the phone sports an ultra-thin bezel and all-metal unibody design. Actually, Vernee tried to experiment with its predecessor Mars by releasing a phone without frames. Although the idea was good and they got a powerful and colorful smartphone, the fact is that they made a terrible mistake with the battery and the capacity was totally unacceptable. This year we are hoping that Vernee makes it right with the Mars Pro by mounting a Helio P25 with 6 GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. For the battery there is no word yet, although hopefully they will have a better capacity.

The fourth device is the Vernee Apollo 2, which has already made headlines with its Meditek Helio X30 processor and 8 GB of RAM. It will come in another variant- 6GB RAM/64GB ROM.
