Huawei has finally and officially confirmed the launch of its upcoming flagship device Huawei P10 through a teaser video. The company has made the video public through its Twitter handle.
Huawei has already sent out media invites for a press meet on February 26th post which speculations were rife that the company will launch its new smartphones during the event. Although, name of the devices were not revealed. Thanks to the new official video, we now know that it is in fact the P10 which will be unwrapped on the given date at Barcelona, Spain.
The video reveals very little about the P10 phone and keeps our curiosity levels intact. But we were able to, at least, spot one spec from it- a dual camera set-up. The video contents remind us of that and it is likely that the new Huawei phone will come with a mounted rear dual-camera, as was seen in Huawei P9.
Based on past leaks, we know that Huawei P10 will come in three variants. The base model will come with 4GB of RAM and 32GB storage priced at $508 USD. The second variant carrying a price tag of $595 USD will sport 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage while the premium P10 with 6GB of RAM paired with 128GB internal memory shall cost $682 USD.
Other specs include a Quad HD 5.5-inch display, Huawei’s own Kirin 960 (HiSilicon 3660) SoC, dual 12MP rear camera and 8MP selfie snapper, front fingerprint scanner.
There is, however, no mention of a premium version of the P10 which we know by the name of Huawei P10 Plus.
