Alcatel Idol 5s appears on Geekbench with MediaTek Helio P20, Android Nougat & 3GB RAM

Alcatel Idol 5s has landed in benchmarking site Geekbench. Alcatel’s last two phones- Idol 4 and 4S- were two affordable handsets launched last year. And we expect the Alcatel Idol 5S to be more than likely a followup to last year’s 4S.

The Geekbench listing reveals quite a bit of its spechsheet. In addition to the TCL Alcatel Idol 5S name, we know that it will run Android 7.0 Nougat and will be powered by a octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 processor clocked at 1.69GHz. It will pack in 3GB of RAM.

Other specs for the Alcatel Idol 5S are currently anyone’s guess. But inferring from the Helio P20 processor, we can guess that it will come with a single camera as P20 can support only a single sensor.

Alcatel Idol 4S was launched at a price of $350. So we’d expect the price of Alcatel Idol 5S to hover soemthing around that.
