Launched in India last month, the Samsung C9 Pro is now up for pre-orders in the country via the official Samsung online store as well as Smart Cafes, Samsung’s offline stores. Priced at Rs. 36,900, the pre-booking is open till February 12th.
Samsung has lined up a host of offers for customers who pre-order the phone which include one-time screen replacement for a period of 12 months, EMI offer for HDFC customers. The smartphone shipments are expected to start from February 24.
The Galaxy C9 Pro, which is Samsung’s first 6GB phone, was launched in China last October. Specwise, it has high-end features. The screen is a 6-inch full HD (1080×1920) AMOLED display. Under the hood, it carries octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC, with four cores clocked at 1.95GHz and the rest at 1.4GHz. The phone packs in 6GB RAM paired with 64GB internal storage that is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.
There’s a 16-megapixel camera combo and a 4000mAH lithium-ion battery on board. The only undoing is its OS which is Marshmallow based. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n), GPS, Glonass, Beidou, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
