Samsung is working on a new Galaxy smartphone, the Galaxy J7 (2017). In Dember last year, Galaxy J7 2017 (SM-J727A) was spotted on WiFi Alliance and now another Galaxy J7 2017 variant with the model number SM-S727VL has appeared on GFXBench.
According to our sources, the SM-S727VL will be the Galaxy J7 2017 variant for Tracfone carrier (US).
According to GFXbench listing, the Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 (SM-S727VL) will sport a 5.5-inch HD display. It will be powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. On the camera front, it has an 8MP rear camera and 5MP selfie shooter. The device runs on Android 6.0.1. Marshmallow.
A few days back, WiFi Alliance was also seen listing the Galaxy J7 (2017) with SM-S727VL model number. Strangely, the WiFi spcsheet for the same model number is quite premium compared to that of GFXBench. It says the new phone will run Android 7.0 Nougat and feature a 13MP rear camera.
Well, things should get clearer at at the upcoming MWC event where Samsung will most likely take wraps off Galaxy J7 (2017).
