Quietly stealing the light away from LG and Google, Verizon has officially announced to launch its own Android Wear 2.0 watch. The device named as Wear24 will be released in March at a cut price of $299 with a 2-year contract, which surely gives LG and Google a tough competition.
The Verizon Wear24 sports a 1.39-inch AMOLED display (290ppi) and all of Android Wear 2.0 new features. It packs in 450mAh battery and is IP67 dust and water resistance. Other features include LTE-equipped, NFC for Android Pay. It has a 42mm case with 13.5mm thickness.
Another exclusive feature is a special watch face that you can setup to automatically change based on where you are, as well.
The smartwatch has a classic, elegant design and can be a good buy option for those aren’t willing to go with a Sport watch.
