Not one to wait for MWC 2017, Huawei will release its new premium smartphone Honor V9 on February 21, a week before Mobile World Congress 2017. Huawei has released a teaser image mentioning the launch date.
The Huawei Honor V9 has been the target of a few leaks earlier owing to which we already know what it has in store for us. It was also on Chinese certification site TENAA.
The Honor V9 will be equipped with a 5.7-inch display with a resolution Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixel). Under the hood, it will carry Kirin 960 octa-core processor with a clock frequency of 2.4 GHz paired with new Mali M71 graphics which is Vulkan API compatible. It will come in two options — 4GB and 6GB paired with 64 GB internal storage.
The phone will sport dual rear camera set-up with 12MP resolution and a 8MP selfie snapper. A 4000mAH battery will keep the lights on. The OS on the phone will be Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
Huawei will release the Honor V9 in gold color at an expected price of 2699 yuan which is approximately $393.
